Const as it says is a const. With const you do not need to go full caps like you did with var const.

One thing to remember that the constent inside a const can be changed ie. an array value, but the const type cannot be changed (mutable)

  const a = [1,2,3];
  a.push( 4 );
  console.log(  a ); // [1,2,3,4]
  a = 42; // error! we're trying to change an array to string
